my Bday
08.28.05 (3:59 pm) [edit]Finally, a day to blog and post pictures. This past month has been a busy but fun time. Right now I am enjoying a cool afternoon while blogging by the window. Here is the story and some pictures to go along with them.
Jun Jun and Ahn came to Seattle in time for Pista sa Nayon 2005 (the Filopino festival). We all went to the shade where I took a picture of my sister, Pia w/ Christian and Andrew in the background. We went to go buy some Halo Halo and there I saw ate Marie and Boyfriend Dave and Ate Joi’s Daughter. While in the shade I decided to take more pictures of everyone.
Jun Jun celebrated his birthday here and we got a cake that was really sweet…. We took Ahn and Jun to eat dim sum. After that we walked over to Uwajimaya. On the way there we Jun Jun took a picture with the Lion. At the market ahn posed with her favorite fruit. a watermelon.
When Allan’s parent came with his nephew AJ, we went to Pike place Market, Seattle center and the aquarium. My mom and godmother, Auntie Susan, also provided dinner for my future inlaws. My grandparents were also there to meet them.
On the day they left, there was a wedding that I attended. It was for my godsister Juliet. She is finally married and she was so pretty. I took a coplu shots of my family and I. Allan had to work that day… I missed him.
Today is my birthday… I’m so happy to be 25 for some reason. Yeah, I’m like 1/4th of a century old, but I feel like this will be a good year for me. Partly because of school. I feel like I am accomplishing the things I want to do. With that said… I’ll end it on a good note. Nite~

08.14.05 (11:37 am) [edit]Okay, I have been really busy haven't been able to get to the PC much. Lots of pictures were taken while Allan's family is here. I don't really have much time to try and get everything posted, maybe a couple.
Right now, I'm listening to Black Eyed Peas. Love that group. All the their songs are always different and NO I don't favor them because one member is filipino.
Right now, my mind is dealing with how Allan and I are going to deal with paying for school without Financial Aid. The government says we make too much. We can't get help with school from our workplace until we are starting our programs. So, for our prerequsites we will be spending $1000 each, each quarter for classes and books. Total of $2000 or more. Geez, I know Allan and I will make it. It's just mind boggling to me that we can't get help because we've been trying to work and move up in our workplace. It seems resonable to just pay our way through school each quarter. That way we wont have bills to pay later.
I know that god will have things in place for me. All I can do is have faith in everything.
