Abstract

a wonderful week

Geez, alot has happened in the last week. Especially, yesterday we recived the news we have been waiting for, for almost a year.  Tell you about that in a little bit. 
My family from California came last thursday to be here for our grandpa's surprise party... Friday... we went to the  hall where it was to be held and decorated...  my mom did not go all the way out with decoration but put up the center peices and some flowers on the wall.  Made sure the props for the stage are up.  Finally, Saturday, after hula,  the big day came and here comes grandpa walking in the door.  He was told that they were going to a party for one of my mom's friend at work.  The theme for the party was "bayanihan."  Our family wore the traditional costumes to match with our granparents and later on changed to our  party clothes.  My cousins put on a show and dance a couple of numbers, then filipino dance troupe of seattle did a show for us.  We had a great buffet line with filipino and american food which was catered and filipino food was made by my mom and her friends.  It was great that we didn't have to clean up, just pack the food that we had left over and the drinks.  So, we go to my mom's house about 11:30 and me and Allan stayes till about 1:30, so did joysha, ahha haaa... i just remembered joysha said she wanted to take some food home and WOW she sure went home with alot of food.  my mom kept calling her JOYSHING and saying take food home.  ha ha ha, even though alot of the good stuff was gone there was still a bunch to take.  finally we managed to get the care out of the cramped garage.  told you joy, we could get your car out! so, here i am.  Doing laundry, allan went to work this morning, my family is leaving for Cali today, right now everyone is at my mom's.
Well, the good news was that for a year we have been waiting on a job that Allan applied for, it was immigration and on Friday he recived the news.  I guess there are 3 people from his place that was accepted.  Allan  called in and gave his notice.  It's not a full two weeks because he wasn't informed until this last friday and he starsts training Oct. 5
There's my long week... i gotta get going for now...

drifting away

hey there...ever wonder why old frens seem to drift away? at the time it seemed like no one will ever grow apart and there is no reason to.  but i guess, it's bound to happen.  is it my fault or is it there's? I guess it's really no one's fault, only that everyone grows older in there own time and has different views.  will we ever be on the same level again?  probly not.  i choose to be away from influences because of my views.  i think that i have other views, ofcourse being myself, i only listen to me, what i think.  life is complicated.
okay so hula is cancelled for today and so is the show.  i really wanted to practice today, but i guess kumu decided to have a break.  atleast now i don't have to rush on my muu muu. tomorrow, i'm going to go volunteer at the airport and get some miles for hawaii next year... kool, me and U'i's gonna eat waffle's in the morning before we go. she's so fun to hang around with.
so, what did i do today? just hang around the house and have a chill out day.  Joysha came over and hung out with talked about alotta stuff... we always do.  she told me she bought a hamster for ten dollars and told her my brother has like a grip of hamsters and his other ones had a whole bunch... and you  know my brother gave us a deal haa haa! thanks bro... so, i guess it's official my mother is sure now that joysha will be taking pictures for grandpa's surprise 80th birthday... it's gonna be so much fun, my family hasn't had a party in a while... some of our family will be coming and it's gonna be a total surprise to them... so, that's what i did today... it's always fun when joysha comes over...
Now, i have yet to wait for Allan to come home from work... so for now.. take care

Allergy shot

Allergy shot... i just got my first one today at work.  What exactly is and allergy shot? No, it's not some thing that make you allergies go away just like that.  It's a series of shots that introduce whatever your allergic to, to your body.  I guess it's kinda crazy why would you inject things into your body if you're allergic to them.  The answer is to not be allergic later on in the future, I guess.  The doses get higher as you go, the sad thing is, i probly wont see any recults until later, I mean like 1-2 years.  I still have to get a new bed, so I can get my special allergy covers, buy an air filter for the house and there's a whole lot fo thing that I need. Not only for my allergies but to protect Allan in the future.

My visitors left today.  It's been crazy, because for a while my manager talked to  me about the noise.  After that it was koo.  I couldn't entertain them much because I still had work and it's not like I could go with them and go out to where ever they wanted to go.  I hope next time it will be different.

So, my fren checked out hula and said she liked it.  Maybe she'll decide to join soon.  We had the halau picnic during laborday weekend.  Altough I couldn't get there till after Allan got off work, we stayed till after to help clean up.  It's really fun to have a get together like that.

Well, i have laundry to do and CSI to watch...

Okay, why does it seem like when i say i'm back, i never seem to get on to do my blog. ahha ahha. but anyways... yup me and allan wen to Portland, OR.  It was fun never been out of the state with my car and no we did rent a car like we said we were and you know, that's a really long story and i don't really want to say anything about it it just to much.  Now, My cousin and her friends are here from Portland, OR. 

Lately, i've been so busy i haven't been able to talk to my friends and call my sister, i feel so bad.  i got so much to do today, i think i'll do em all tomorrow and just make the cheesecake for the halau picnic and cook dinner for my guests.  i think i'll make my call's while i'm cooking.  that seems like a good idea.

i had hula today.  missed it last week due to our trip.  but today felt really good because, it just did!  my fren is really interested in joining.  Altough she's a beginner, i'm pretty sure she'll have alota fun.  can't wait!

i'm really thinking buying a house.  i can't really jump into conclusions and i'm not!  but just looking around for now to get ideas.  it's alot of hard work and well me and my co-worker are looking to talk to this lady so we can get some help and direction with buying a house.
